BENJI'S STORY

In 2014, Benji the dog was diagnosed with a minor intervertebral disc disease. What started off as only a limp would get worse over the years with Benji's age. In 2018, Benji would begin losing movement in both back legs. In 2020, Benji faced full paralysis in his back legs and passed on February of the same year.
Benji's sickness caused both him and his family inconvenience and sorrow as they figured out how to navigate and adapt to Benji's emerging disabilities.
When a dog wheelchair was purchased to help Benji move around the house, the wheelchair improved things for Benji, but it was far from perfect.
Our dog wheelchair seeks to innovate and improve upon the standard design for dog wheelchairs. We aim to create a wheelchair that will improve usability, allow for more independence for the dog, and put our beloved pets on the path to rehabilitation and recovery.
